Here’s my five item makeup for travel, 1) Laura Geller Balance and Brighten foundation, 2) LG bronzer 3j a small eyeshadow pallet with a dark shade that can be used as a liner, 4). Brow pencil, 5) mascara.
Yes, concealer! And something for lips and cheeks at a minimum, so a combo is great. I am a notorious overpacker; I could probably learn alot from you. Thanks for sharing.
Great selection. I pack minimal makeup when traveling, I often end up not using any at all. I always bring NuSkin Bb+ cream, Bronzer from Color Me Beautiful works as bronzer, eyeshadow and the darkest color in it also works if I need to intensify my brows. Lipstick doubles as blush. I always use Lip lift tint in the color BlackBerry from Color me Beautiful. I don’t really regard it as makeup as it has SPF and moisture my lips. I don’t use mascara anymore.
Thank you for taking the time to do this video! You do an amazing job on your eyebrows, I have the same pen and to be fair am pretty eyebrow challenged and I really struggle with this pen. What I like about it is that when it does turn out for me I love it and it really lasts through out any climate you will in that day. I hope you, your family and the adorable kittens have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
@carrieannstocks4715 I think the trick with this pen is to just start with a few strokes and then stand back and think about what you want to see then add a few more there where you want to see it. It is an art! 😁
Oh my goodness - I just wondered if I could use my eyebrow product as eyeliner too, as I have problems getting eyeliner I’m happy with - and I can! It works! So my five products would be: Nyx Can’t Stop Won’t Stop foundation, Nyx Wonderstick in Magenta, Nyx Wonderstick in Universal, Barry M waterproof mascara, and Mua Brow Define Micro Precision in grey. As I use the Magenta Wonderstick for lipstick, that would be my whole look without taking up much room at all. For a sixth product I’d take an eyeshadow palette - one with a light day shade and a glam glitter shade for evening, though the Wondersticks can do eyeshadow too.
Really interesting. Thank you. I’m substantially older than you, but I travel a lot. I’d pack pretty much the same, though of course different products. Skin care makes this possible, though for a weekend you can still do the minimum.
I watched your vid on Boom and dupes It is expensive but it lasts forever. So, I would take the BoomStick color and BoomStick Parisian red, using either one for blush and lipstick. I would also take the e.l.f. Cool Berry Dew stick, and the Mizon Snail Repair BB creme. Also sunscreen. My skincare routine would be much larger: a cleanser, a Mizon toner, Vitamin C oil, Mizon snail repair ampoule, a retinol, one of my Mizon Snail moisturizers, and a small bottle of castor oil (because you recommended it and I can no longer live without it). As I've gotten older eye makeup and I don't seem to be getting along so I now forego shadow and mascara because I ALWAYS end up wth raccoon eyes.
YES to the NYX Lift & Snatch brow pen...love!! I have almost no brows left, and, that ash brown doesn't pull warm or red on me, either. It works!! ♥️♥️♥️
Hey, my eyebrows are patchy naturally. Yours look more natural b/c you weren't able to make them perfect. I have found that the harder I work at trying to get my eyebrows to look like they once did (when I was young and had all my hair) is a waste of time and too much stress. They look just as good if I spend 3 minutes as they do if I spend 10, maybe they look better. For me the important thing is that the brow color stays on all day. Mine does (I love Anastasia of Beverly Hills brow powder duo).
Interesting Diana! I'd bring my everyday staples; a mascara (brown), my blush/bronzer 4-tints powder blush from Milani (use on cheeks and eyes) and a tinted lip balm. A floofy brush of course (I have one that retracts into a lipstick-like case) and a small eyedropper bottle of a mix of castor and jojoba oils. If there was a dinner out planned I'd add a matt lipstick that plays nice with my lip balm, my 2 NYX Wonder Sticks and a soft brown eyeliner. That's pretty much as fancy as I get! 😂
As for your Adidas walking shoes...please switch to Sketchers! They're elegant, simple, reasonably priced and for goodness sakes - slip on!! The Adidas shoes did look horribly dated. 😢 👞 👟 👎
@Lisa-vb3gn They're elegant because they're unencumbered by shoelaces which makes them appear free and smooth. Sketchers are a vast improvement over heavy running/walking shoes. Especially elegant if black or even red!
Awesomely simple yet so beautiful!

The last things I’d need would be powder and bronzer 😊
Subscribed -,because you’re practical and hilarious! And I love the name of your channel 😏
Thank youuuuu!!! 😘
Thanks
I'd pack black eyeshadow for liner and a liquid or gel liner to go over it. Then eyebrow liner and lipstick. My fifth item would be lip liner.

What about cleanser and moisturizer/sunscreen?
Yes, I need to do a different video on travel skincare for sure!
What I need to know is how to get cleansers, moisturizers, oils, sunscreen and tretinoin down to a small amount for say, a 2 week getaway. Help!
I save little cosmetic sample containers for this purpose. Drugstores also sell travel kits with small containers.
That is so hard! I want to bring everything! I usually end up bringing not enough and not liking it. I need to think more on this!

They are cheap, both in quality and price, but not elegant. Hard to imagine a walking shoe that qualifies as elegant.

I don’t think the adidas shoes look horribly dated, but I agree that the Skechers are better. Clean lines.
